In the Kantar BrandZ 2022 ranking, the first four places are occupied by four of the five GAFAM. Exactly like in 2021, only Facebook is not in the Top 5, the group even falling from sixth to eighth place in the ranking with a valuation down 18% to 186.4 billion dollars.
Conversely, thanks to a 55% jump in its brand valuation, Apple becomes the most valuable brand in the world in 2022 : 947.1 billion dollars. Followed by Google ($819.6 billion), Amazon ($705.6 billion) and Microsoft ($611.5 billion). The last place in the Top5 is occupied by the first non-American company in the ranking: the Chinese Tencent, whose brand is valued by Kantar 214 billion dollars.
