Apple would still release a new iPad Pro M2 in 2022 (then a 14 inch in 2023)

In the rumors of the weekend, it is about iPad Pro! Indeed, just after the keynote and the presentation of the M2 chip, speculation flared up in all directions: an M2 Pro chip is planned for the end of the year, and a new 14-inch M2 iPad Pro is even in preparation at Apple!

In his last newsletterMark Gurman bounces on this information, believing that a new iPad Pro would be expected for the next school year, in September or October. The latter could benefit from an M2 chip, wireless charging and a new photo module!

The Bloomberg journalist takes the opportunity to bitch a little about his 2020 iPad Pro (!!), whose A12Z chip is starting to show signs of weakness and -especially- who will not be not able to run the latest multitasking features. Indeed, some new features of iPadOS 16 will not concern all iPads and the most interesting (Stage Manager!) will be reserved for iPad M1.

As a reminder, Ross Young – recognized analyst at Display Supply Chain Consultants– had announced the arrival of a very large iPad Pro with a 14.1-inch mini LED screen which would be equipped with an M2 chip, ProMotion and Face ID. This new product could arrive early 2023 (maybe spring like iPad Pro M1?).

Here all the new features of iPadOS 16! !
