Ardres: the pizza shovel has new owners

Created in 2010, the pizzeria La Pelle à pizza now has new owners and new directions.

Originally from the Boulogne region, and now residing in Andres, Patrick and Laetitia Caux have chosen to take over La Pelle à pizza in order to breathe new life into the trade and impose their style on the products on offer. With fifteen years of practice in the kitchen, Patrick Caux officiated at the brasserie restaurant Chez Jules in Boulogne-sur-Mer, at the pizzeria restaurant Le Milano and at the brasserie Le Café de Paris in Calais. ” We have chosen to focus our cuisine on fresh products from local artisans. In this sense, we have contacted them so that they regularly supply us with fresh products », points out Patrick Caux.

Sweet pizzas too

If the brand offers about thirty different pizzas made with tomato and cream, it also displays sweet pizzas, whole welshs and roasted camemberts. As before, the products are to be taken away or delivered to a dozen municipalities in Ardrésis and the surrounding area.
