The team of‘Industrial Design Team at Apple has just welcomed a rather prestigious member. Peter Riering-Czekalla is indeed considered one of the current sizes of design, and the latter has just joined Apple. The Cupertino firm has poached Peter Riering-Czekalla from his position as Chief Design Officer of Molekule, a startup which sells air purifiers. A quick look below makes it easy to understand why Apple has set its sights on this profile: the Air Pro and Air Mini purifiers seem to come straight out of Cupertino with their ultra sober and elegant lines!
The designer also seems to have a very exacerbated taste for the slightest detail, the texture of the materials, the way the design should blend into the environment, etc. Requirements that a certain Jony Ive if he was still SVP at Apple… Will Peter Riering-Czekalla work on the design of the new large-format HomePod that Bloomberg announces for 2023?
