Plain Pasta: copy-paste in plain text automatically

Plain Pasta is a small utility that will save time or manipulation for anyone who does a lot of copying and pasting text. Once activated from the menu bar, Plain Pasta causes text copied to the clipboard to be pasted in raw form, without any formatting or links, which is sometimes preferable.

You can of course paste text in raw form without this utility. To do this, in your text editor, go to the menu Editing > Paste and adapt the style or you can use the keyboard shortcut ⌘⌥⇧V. Plain Pasta does nothing but simplify this action.

This app isn’t the first of its kind, but it’s free, open source, and up-to-date for macOS Big Sur as well as Apple Silicon Macs.
