Kitchen mites, also called cirons or tyroglyphes, are small white creatures that like to nestle in your cupboards in search of flour, pasta or even dried fruits and vegetables. In recent days, too many mites have been found in pizza dough sold in many supermarkets. The product has been withdrawn from sale and is currently subject to a recall procedure.

This product recall adds to the long list of products that do not comply with the health standards in force. From Jardin Bio cube broths to Carrefour jams, Buitoni pizzas and Kinder chocolates… For more than a year, 4,864 recall procedures for food products have been recorded, i.e. more than 400 recalls per month on average .

The product “My easy pizza dough” (500 g) sold in all Casino, Vival, Spar stores and other Casino distribution networks is currently subject to a recall procedure. This is lot 244 with international item code (GTIN) 3222475459900. It was marketed between September 14, 2021 and June 27, and its minimum durability date is set for August 26.
